What are Projects?
Projects are essentially a file system that allows you to save, manage, and revisit your content... well, projects. Simply swap a piece of media out, update text, or work ahead for content to be released later in the day. They are designed to make Slate your go-to tool for repeating creative tasks and make managing your content creation workflows easier than ever.
Saving a Project
- In the mobile app, create the content you want to save as a project
- When you are ready to save your content as a project, select the three dot button in the top right corner of your screen
- Select 'Save Project'
- Your new project will now be available in the projects drawer

- In the mobile app, create the content you want to save as a project
- Hit the 'Share' button
- Select 'Save Project'
- Your new project will now be available in the projects drawer
TIP: When editing a project that you previously made, you can overwrite the previous version of that project, or save your content as a new project.
Accessing your Projects
- To access previously created projects, select the three dot button in the top right corner of your phone screen
- Choose 'Projects' and select the project you would like to edit
NOTE: Projects will be saved locally and will not be accessible across all users on your brand account. This means that the user who creates then saves the content, is the only one who will have access to edit it on the device it was created.
Editing your Projects
- Select the three dot button in the top right corner of your phone screen
- Select the project you would like to edit by tapping on it
- Make any changes you would like
- Share your content!
Renaming a Project
- Select the three dot button in the top right corner of your phone screen
- Select 'Projects'
- On the project that you would like to rename, select the three dot button at the top right of the preview image
- Select 'Rename'
- Rename your project and save
Duplicating a Project
- Select the three dot button in the top right corner of your phone screen
- Select 'Projects'
- On the project that you would like to duplicate, select the three dot button at the top right of the preview image
- A duplicate project will now be shown in your projects folder

A: No, right now, your projects are saved locally to your device. We're working on this and hope to make projects shareable in the near future!
Q: Can I delete a project if I no longer need it?
A: Yes, you can delete any project that you no longer need to keep your workspace organized and clutter-free. You can do this by selecting the three dot button at the top right of the preview image and hitting 'Delete'.
Q: Are there any limitations to the number of drafts I can save?
A: Currently, there are no set limitations on the number of drafts you can save. However, we always recommend managing your drafts effectively for the best experience.
